The problem
Simon had made SEO changes on a chatbot's advice and sales had slowed. The homepage had two H1 headings, images without alt text, and no review markup. The catalogue carried wrong weights and copied descriptions. Search Console showed the size of the miss: "mushroom chips" had 6,111 impressions in 16 months and 3 clicks. "Dried shiitake mushrooms", 2,052 impressions, 4 clicks.
What I did
Foundations, August to September 2026. A 16-month Search Console baseline and lab speed scores on the pages that matter. Homepage and contact page headings fixed. Alt text on the key images. Every one of 25 products scanned through the store's own API, with the wrong weights and duplicate names listed for Simon to rule on. A Google Business Profile pack and a review-ask pack with the live review link. Blog structure for the snack range, so the searches that already exist land somewhere.
